A decent lip balm

"It was a nice alternative to lip balm but didn't find it was anywhere to giving it's price point. I get the same result from an expensive lip balm that is a quarter of the cost. It absorbed well and wasn't oily but I felt I had to reapply more than other much cheaper balms. I really didn't see anything more for the cost difference."

Lovely balm but please, change the tube design!

"I really enjoy the feel of the LipBoost on my lips, but often find myself reaching for an easier to access lip balm as the lid and tube of this product is a terrible design. I wonder if anyone at Alumier actually uses it, as if they did, they would surely have changed this design straight away. The lid is so stiff to turn that the tube ends up twisting and contorting but still with the lid jammed on. I now leave the lid off, which is probably quite unhygienic and potentially messy!"

Disappointed

"I’ve used alumier products for 4 years now (skin care) and suffer with small spots around my lips so I thought I would invest in a good lip balm to try and clear this up after years of using vasaline - however I feel quite disappointed with this product. To begin with it was a good consistency and texture but over a 2 weeks period I’ve found it has become runny and oily. Also the packaging isn’t great as feels like it’s come away from the tube inside so it’s soft and difficult to open."

"I absolutely love this lip boost, however i cannot ever get the lid off. My husband has to get it off for me so i can put it in little pots. Could you possibly change to packaging please"

Disappointed with the lip boost

"I have used quite a few Alumier products and I give them all 5*’s. The lip boost was a huge disappointment. For the price I was expecting something special, but it does not last very long on the lips, it’s really hard to get the top off (sometimes I have to ask my husband to open it) and overall I feel that I wasted my money. I buy the Vit C regularly, and the SPF. Don’t waste your money on the lip boost, buy lip balms for £4 as they last longer and are better quality."

"Bought this to try since I have struggled with dry scaly lips for many years now and can’t seem to find the right product to address this. I use alumier cleanser and moisturiser for my face and have noticed a real positive change in my skin after many years of dry skin and spots so thought maybe the lip product would do the same! Unfortunately I don’t feel it’s made a big difference. My lips do seem less scaly but I find the product actually very drying and when applied it doesn’t seem to last very long either which means I have to put Vaseline over the top in order to add some moisture and shine. For £35 I expected a lot more…"

A winning product!

"Adore this lip balm - I’d been considering lip filler due to lip density loss with aging but I feel this has returned the natural plumpness to my lips and moisturised them more than other balms. I’m no longer considering filler at this moment in time. Thank you for a fab product!"

"I love the formula and how well it has worked for me! I used to have a lot of problems with my lips cracking and becoming very dry, and this is the first product that has actually helped <3 The only thing that could be improved is the tube itself. Over time it tends to twist in an annoying way. It might be because I close it too tightly, but it could still be something worth looking at in terms of manufacturing."
